In Bidart we carried out one of our most outstanding projects: the complete renovation of a villa, in collaboration with the architects of Gardera-Pastre studio, whom we deeply admire for the quality of their houses, among the best in the area. The work consisted of a total interior transformation, in compliance with regulations and exterior constraints, and strictly respecting deadlines so that the client could enjoy the house during the summer.
Complete demolitions and opening of multiple load-bearing walls.
Demolition of the old garage and construction of a new garage with wooden joinery and almost invisible automatic doors.
Special draining floor in the garage.
Construction of outdoor terraces in ipé wood.
Installation of curved iroko railings on balconies.
Installation of high-performance Technal windows.
Oak flooring throughout the house.
Microcement finishes in bathrooms, with installation of taps.
Complete interior carpentry and custom-made wardrobes.
Wood cladding on façade, exterior painting and interior lacquers.
Designer kitchen with curved furniture, marble countertops and a natural stone worktop.
Modification and improvement of the swimming pool with new integrated stairs.
Construction of a curved concrete balcony on the west façade, overlooking the sea.
Execution of a unique new interior staircase and rounded access to the attic.
Electrical and plumbing works coordinated with partner companies.
Constant support from an engineering firm for structural calculations.
The result was a completely renovated, modern and elegant villa, with a high level of detail in every element. The combination of noble woods (ipé, iroko and oak), together with microcement, marble and natural stone finishes, gave the house a unique character. An ambitious and very special project that reflects the best of collaboration between renowned architects, engineering and meticulous craftsmanship.
